St. Suzanne Cody Rouge Community Resource Center
19321 West Chicago, Detroit MI 48228 “Detroit Youth Urbanism Summit is an opportunity for us young adults to take control and make change in our community”
As part of the year-long Cody Rouge & Warrendale Youth-Centric Neighborhood Framework, 21 teenagers from the area worked for six weeks to learn about their city and the neighborhood. To share what they have learned, they have planned & produced the “Detroit Youth Urbanism Summit 2019 Taking Us Back,” an event to bring together young people from the neighborhood and others interested in our city and the well-being of youth. “Taking Us Back” will be an evening of youth-led events including performances, group activities, and more.
