All west side residents of Warrendale, Warren Avenue Community, Joy Community, Franklin Park, and Gardenview are invited to learn about potential public projects for their neighborhoods and advocate for their priorities for street safety, redeveloping vacant houses, shopping on West Warren Avenue and Joy Road, improving parks, and more.

Since January 2019, young people, neighborhood organizations, and residents have worked with the Detroit Planning & Development Department to develop near-term public projects and a long-term Neighborhood Framework for these neighborhoods to be safer, friendlier, and more nourishing for all young people.
